I was invited to participate in the Fair by the director Shen Po, and have shipped six works there as part of a group of 9 Santa Fe photographers.

We are here in Port Chester, NY, after driving cross country with the remainder of the work for my show at the EA Gallery!

EA has all of the 12 portraits on the facing wall, and I think they look great! We unpacked all the smaller pieces, and she will be placing them in the gallery for the opening on Friday...

Well, the final revision of the color version of American Adolescents is out there and available! I am revising the black and white version of the book, and should be finished with that in two weeks. What do you think?

I have finally uploaded both the color and black and white versions of American Adolescents after having made several very minor edits during the past month. Both versions of the book will be available by the end of March (if not sooner!) and I will post the links. The time it takes to have a "proof" printed and received has taken pretty long; but the results are so worthwhile!

My niece and young adult book advisor Suzanna Hermans has given me the final okay from NY!

Also during the past month, February 14th to be exact, Gus Winter and I got married at the historic Lamy Chapel at Bishop's Lodge here in Santa Fe! Busy time!!

Well, I finished everything for American Adolescents (the book!) and will upload it tomorrow morning to lulu.com. I feel that the profiles therein will be of value to readers of all ages, and perhaps help some teens understand that they are not alone.

Quite by serendipity and thanks to Facebook, I had an incredible email yesterday from a former CHS art student. Life has become a rich embroidery of threads and connections, and what greater honor than to still be included in the thoughts of others, and to hear how some of my students have grown into such aware adults. Thank you Margo!

We have just returned after a long drive from our home in Santa Fe to the southeast US, covering eight states, and visiting with many relatives and friends along the way. The purpose of this trip was to attend the wedding of my niece Anne Herdman, in Florida. We three sisters rented a beach house and shared the long festive weekend with our families. While there, I also received a final OK from niece Suzanna Hermans, who is an expert on young adult literature, and manager of her dad's bookstore, Oblong Books and Music, in Rhinebeck, NY.

I have just finished sending out our Christmas letter, and have curled up in snowy Santa Fe, and will begin converting my final book files into PDF form so that I can upload them for publishing. Will let you know as soon as American Adolescents becomes available at http://lulu.com. Have a wonderful Holiday!

I have finally finished American Adolescents! With some final editing by daughter Jenny, we wrapped it up! At the present time, we are enroute to Savannah, GA, then on to Florida for the wedding of my niece Anne. So, upon our return to Santa Fe, I will upload the pages to lulu.com for the printing!
